BELLEFONTAINE NEIGHBORS, Mo. – A multi-vehicle crash Sunday in Bellefontaine Neighbors claimed one life and seriously injured two people.
According to Sgt. Andrew Gadberry of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at Bellefontaine Road and Shepley Drive.
The highway patrol reported that when the crash happened, Riverview police were trying to stop a possibly stolen vehicle.
Riverview authorities are handling the investigation into the possible stolen vehicle. The highway patrol is investigating the crash itself.
