FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. – A 16-year-old from Washington, Missouri, died Saturday in motorcycle crash.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report, the crash happened just after 11:45 a.m. on Pottery Road at McMahon Automotive Drive.
The highway patrol said the juvenile was riding a 1983 Honda CX650, traveling southbound on Pottery Road. The teen was speeding through a curve, causing the bike to slide on the roadway in front of a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado traveling in the opposite direction.
The teen was declared dead at the scene just after 11:55 a.m.
The crash report stated that the juvenile was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
