ST. LOUIS – An O’Fallon, Missouri, man was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison on Friday over child sex crimes.

A judge sentenced Andrew Haller, 34, after he pleaded guilty to two counts of coercion and enticement of a minor, one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of receipt of child pornography.

Investigators say Haller engaged in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl that he met online and discussed sex with another 15-year-old girl. He met both girls through online platform Tumblr and moved conversations to the encrypted chat app Telegram.

In October 2023, the FBI was notified that Haller asked one girl for nude photos and videos while also sending her photos and videos from the other victim. After searching Haller’s home in November 2023, FBI agents were able to identify the other victim.

When investigators searched Haller’s electronic devices, they uncovered 195 images and 92 videos of child sexual abuse material, which he’d sent to others via Telegram and Signal, another encrypted app.

The FBI investigated the case, while Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Hayes prosecuted the case.
