ST. LOUIS – MetroLink services came to a halt near Enterprise Center after a busy night of sporting events in Downtown St. Louis.
Service between the Union Station and Stadium stops was stopped. The trains were stopped due to what Bi-State Development is calling a medical emergency.
This impacted people heading home after the St. Louis City SC and Saint Louis Blues games.
Delays of up to 40 minutes were reported as Metrolink sent shuttles to pick up stranded passengers.
Service resumed around midnight.
Details of the medical emergency remain unclear this morning.
