O’FALLON, Mo. – A homicide investigation is underway after a man was fatally shot overnight in O’Fallon, Missouri, police say.
The shooting happened around 4 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of Casalon Drive.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim deceased and lying in a parking lot with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim has not been identified as of Saturday afternoon.
The O’Fallon Police Department says the investigation is “active and ongoing” into the shooting death. Police have not yet identified any potential suspects or motives in connection with the shooting.
