ST. LOUIS – Bayer, which employs about 5,000 people in the St. Louis area, supports Missouri House Bill 544. The bill modifies labeling for certain pesticides. It has just passed the Missouri House and is headed for debate in the Missouri Senate. Bayer’s head of Crop Science and Sustainability Communications addressed concerns being raised by opponents of the legislation.
