ST. LOUIS – Widespread frost and the possibility of a freeze this Tuesday morning. As of 3 a.m., temperatures in many spots were still just above freezing.
While we will see temperatures drop below that 32-degree mark towards sunrise, there is hope in the shorter window of time that sub-freezing will limit impacts. Temperatures usually start to warm by 8 a.m.
After the cold start, we’ll be sunny and cool throughout Tuesday with top temperatures in the mid 50s. Tuesday night will bring increasing clouds but it won’t be as cold. We’ll wake up around 40 F on Wednesday. It will be warmer and cloudy, with some spots of light rain possible during the day and high temperatures in the 60s.
A chance for showers and weak thunderstorms will continue Wednesday night and Thursday. Rainfall totals look light, so this will not impact the ongoing flooding.
In the 60s again Thursday with afternoon showers. We’ll be drier and cooler for Friday, with highs in the 50s. Saturday looks nice, with highs in the 60s. Sunday looks breezy and warmer.
