FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. – Like so many, a Villa Ridge family is still struggling to recover following last month’s devastating EF2 tornado that ripped through their community.

Kevin and Jennifer Fee, along with their five kids aged 3-13, are living in a camper in their front yard along with Jennifer’s mother after the tornado forced them out of their home.

The Fee’s said the ordeal has strengthened their faith. And while they work to pick up the pieces, they also are reflecting on something irreplaceable they did lose: their state champion sugarberry tree they affectionately named ‘Sugar.’

A GoFundMe has been set up to help the Fee’s on their long road to recovery. If you’d like to help them, you can do so here.
