ST. LOUIS – An Endangered Silver Advisory alert was issued by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) for a 75-year-old man who has dementia.
The missing person incident was reported just after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the 4600 block of McRee Ave. in St. Louis.
According to officials, Michael Lee Anthes left his home on foot and was last seen walking southbound on 39th Avenue from Lafayette Avenue.
Anthes is described as a white male who is 5’11” and weighs 180 pounds. He is said to have long black hair and a gray beard.
At the time of his disappearance, Anthes was wearing a dark blue windbreaker, a blue shirt and black pants.
Police said that the 75-year-old is also known to visit Tower Grove Park, which is located on the south side of St. Louis.
