ST. LOUIS – A man from St. Louis was sentenced to 15 years in prison today for having sex with three minors, whom he met on Instagram.
Curion M. Turner, 26, pleaded guilty to four counts of statutory rape and two counts of statutory sodomy in exchange for a 15-year sentence.
Prosecutors said Turner admitted to having sex with the minors in 2023. Court documents say the minors told him that they were 13 and 14.
According to documents, when Turner was meeting with the young girls, he arranged ride-share services for one minor to his apartment.
Prosecutors also said in another instance, Turner brought a 14-year-old girl to the Central West End Hotel for sex, and he reportedly gave her marijuana.
The mothers of the victims expressed that their daughters now suffer from anxiety, depression and trauma because of the events, according to prosecutors.
