LEMAY, Mo. – Windows were smashed at a south county business twice just days apart.

According to the owner of the business, surveillance video shows different people smashing the windows each time. Robert Boesing opened Lemay Vapor nearly 12 years ago and never had issues until now.

“That’s when he’s throwing it right about now. Then he smashes it,” Boesing said.

Boesing found a brick outside his business on April 30.

“I’m assuming the way he threw it, it bounced up and hit there afterwards. That’s the only thing I can assume,” Boesing said.

He said surveillance video came from around 3:45 in the morning. Ten days prior to the brick attack at the front door, Boesing fell victim to another crime.

Lemay Vapor wasn’t the only business targeted. Police said Jacob Abernathy—the alleged suspect—was arrested for property damage to Boesing’s neighbors.

“This was our gift for Easter and I’m thankful that he was apprehended,” Boesing said.
