ST. LOUIS — Another cool day on Monday as the meandering area of low pressure to our east continues to spin cool temps, clouds, and some precipitation in our direction. The farther east into Illinois you are, the better your chance of a few spot showers, especially east of the Kaskaskia River.  The farther west you are into Missouri, the more sunshine you will see. Highs in the 60s for all.

That low pressure system finally lifts north towards the Great Lakes on Tuesday. After a cool start in the 40s, we’ll warm up tomorrow into the mid-70s with sunshine for all.

Another upper-level system drifts from the Plains southeast to the Gulf Coast midweek. That system will bring clouds and spot showers back to the St. Louis region Wednesday and Thursday, especially south of I-70.
