ST. LOUIS – The May 16 tornado that touched down in St. Louis ravaged hundreds of homes on the city’s north side.
But it also devastated businesses that are critical to the community. One business in particular that was just about to open found itself right in the tornado’s path.
The Gas Mart at the corner of Natural Bridge and North Newstead avenues was set to open in late September.
Now, this business and many others like it have a major concern: protecting their properties from looters.
FOX 2 talked to the business’s head of security and gave a first-hand look at the tremendous damage caused by this tornado.
