ST. LOUIS – Hundreds gathered at Sports & Social St. Louis in Ballpark Village Tuesday, watching the election results come in across the country and keeping their fingers crossed, hoping to see history made.
The watch party was hosted by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. – Gamma Omega Chapter, the Ivy Alliance Foundation, the Howard University Alumni Club of St. Louis, and the St. Louis HBCU Alumni Association, along with members of the Divine Nine.
Vice President Kamala Harris is a member of AKA and is a graduate of Howard University.
The big question tonight for those in attendance: will Harris, the nation’s first female vice president, become the first woman to hold the title of Commander-in-Chief?
