ST. LOUIS – Fire crews have responded to reports of a fire Thursday afternoon at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. It’s currently unclear if a fire broke out in the building.
The St. Louis Fire Department says there was a report of a fire on the eighth floor of the hospital, located in the 500 block of South Kingshighway.
The department says crews are on the scene investigating.
FOX 2 news crews at the scene have not seen any visible signs of a fire or smoke as of 3:55 p.m. Thursday.
Traffic backups on Kingshighway are possible as crews respond to the scene.
