ST. LOUIS – We start a warm-up Wednesday, warmer by January standards anyway. After starting the day in the single digits and low teens, we’ll see temperatures climb into the 30s later Wednesday. That’s 20+ degrees warmer than Tuesday, when our top temp was only 11 F.

There will be more clouds around Wednesday. Highs will be around 34 F. As we head towards sunset, there could be some flurries to pockets of light snow north of I-70. That energy will push east through the evening, with little to no accumulation expected.

Out the door Thursday, temperatures will be in the mid-20s. As a cold front slides through Thursday morning, additional snow flurries will be possible, and these will push farther south. So, don’t be surprised if you see a snowflake on Thursday morning.

Skies will clear into Thursday afternoon behind the front and we’ll get a reinforcing shot of colder air. Highs Thursday are only near 30 F and out-of-door temps Friday morning will be quite cold, back down into the teens.

Sunny and cold Friday, highs around 30 F. Saturday will be our warmest day, temperatures pushing into the 40s.
