ST. LOUIS — A 28-year-old man delivering pizza in the city’s Tower Grove East neighborhood was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night.

According to St. Louis Metropolitan Police, the robbery occurred in the 2800 block of Pennsylvania around 7:30 p.m.

The victim told police a masked man approached him from behind during a delivery and started a conversation with him. The suspect then pulled out a pistol and demanded the food and money.

The delivery driver gave up the food and his money to the suspect before he ran from the scene. Police said no injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
