IRON COUNTY, Mo. – One man is dead after a single-car crash Monday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 71-year-old House Springs man was traveling northbound along Route N, around eight miles north of Johnson Shut Ins State Park.
Just before 4 p.m., the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree before catching on fire.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, MSHP said.
