ST. LOUIS – Crews found a stack of tires inside of a vacant house in north St. Louis after it was destroyed by a fire Wednesday night.
The fire took place around 9 p.m. on the 4400 block of Saint Ferdinand Avenue in north St. Louis’ The Ville neighborhood.
Heavy smoke could be seen billowing out from the house as firefighters worked to put it out. Officials say car tires were stacked inside that house from the floor to the ceiling.
No injuries were reported from the fire.
