ST. LOUIS – Sports fans now have a new option to watch St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues games without a cable subscription as regional broadcasts are now available on Prime Video.
On Wednesday, FanDuel Sports Network announced the launch of its partnership with Prime Video, making all FDSN regional sports networks available through Prime Video. That includes FanDuel Sports Network Midwest, the longtime home for Cardinals and Blues TV broadcasts.
FDSN is now available as an add-on through Amazon Prime at $19.99 per month. However, fans who take advantage of this opportunity must already have a subscription to Amazon Prime or Prime Video for the deal.
Amazon Prime costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year, while Prime Video without other Amazon Prime benefits costs $8.99 per month.
According to FanDuel Sports Network’s website, “All teams, games and programming that air on FanDuel Sports Network will be available for local viewers to stream through FanDuel Sports Network on Prime Video,” suggesting there will be no local blackouts and that all regional games should be available to viewers.
Additionally, FDSN is developing a direct-to-consumer product that is expected to launch soon. The service is expected to cost $19.99 per month for $189.99 per year upon launch, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. That would provide access to all Cardinals and Blues games without a third-party platform.
In addition to these options, fans can watch games Cardinals and Blues games directly from cable or streaming subscriptions with Spectrum, U-verse TV, DirecTV, DirecTV Stream and Fubo.
