MASCOUTAH, Ill. – Allegiant Airlines has officially launched nonstop service from MidAmerica St. Louis Airport to Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Nonstop service began on Friday. The new flights will operate twice weekly from MidAmerica Airport to Gulf Shores International Airport.

Gulf Shores has become a popular beach destination in recent years, also well-known for its trails, wildlife, golf courses and water activities. Gulf Shores is about an hour away from the Florida Panhandle.
