JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. – An arrest warrant has been issued for an Arnold man for allegedly keeping hundreds of images and videos containing child pornography on his personal electronic devices.
According to online court documents, investigators in St. Louis County were notified in May 2022 of a cybertip involving a Snapchat account that had uploaded child pornography.
Investigators identified Keegan J. Watz as the account’s user and met with him on June 1, 2022, for an interview.
Police said Watz admitted searching for child porn online. Authorities seized Watz’s phone and home desktop computer. They discovered 138 image files and 307 video files of the illicit material stored on the devices.
The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Watz with two counts possession of child pornography. The arrest warrant carries a $10,000 bond.
