ST. LOUIS – WWE Backlash was in town Saturday night. The crowd packed the Enterprise Center as the WWE superstars competed for a number of different titles.

John Cena walked out of WWE Backlash St. Louis with his championship.  It looks to be the final time he will perform in the Gateway City.

Cena retained his title against St. Louis’s own Randy Orton for the main event at the Enterprise Center.

The match lasted more than 40 minutes with several twists and turns taking not one but two referees out of the ring. The two rivals began their WWE careers together and now it looks like the final chapter has closed.

Cena wasn’t the only champion to retain his title. US Champion Jacob Fatu, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkeria, and Men’s Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio all walked away with their titles. Ring General Gunter also walked about with a win over RAW Announcer Pat McAfee.
