McDONALD COUNTY, Mo. — The McDonald County prosecutor has dropped charges against a woman who had been accused of obstructing law enforcement and tampering with evidence.

Emily Flatt, a case worker with Missouri Baptist Children’s Home, was charged last November after authorities say she refused to give them information on two teenage girls who were plotting to kill their foster parents.

Adam Woody, Flatt’s attorney, issued a statement Tuesday saying his client was pleased with the prosecutor’s decision to drop the charges and that she is ready to move on with her life.
