ST. LOUIS – A child is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in north St. Louis.
The crash took place near Thrush and Harney Avenues in north St. Louis’ Walnut Park East neighborhood.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, authorities believe the crash happened after the child ran into the road. The driver involved in the crash is cooperating with police.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
