ST. LOUIS – Another day of breezy and cooler weather Thursday, though the winds won’t be quite as strong.
We’ll start the day with sunshine but see clouds increase into Thursday afternoon. High temperatures will be in the mid- to upper 60s. The skies will clear up again during the evening.
Wake up temperatures Friday will be noticeably cool, in the mid-40s away from metro St. Louis. Friday will start sunny but see clouds roll in during the afternoon. High temperatures are expected to reach around 70 F.
Unfortunately, the upcoming Memorial Day weekend, the kickoff to summer, is looking cool and wet. This year looks to be the coolest Memorial Day in more than 20 years.
Shower chances will begin on Friday evening, followed by waves of rain and occasional thunderstorms during the long weekend. It won’t be raining all the time, but clouds and wet conditions will keep temperatures well below normal.
