ST. LOUIS – It’s been 10 years since the last episode was released in the Disney Channel series “Phineas and Ferb.” But in just a few weeks, fans will have the chance to experience “104 more days of summer” with a brand new revival season—and one episode will presumably make a pit stop in St. Louis.
On June 5, “Phineas and Ferb” will make its return to Disney Channel, and will take to the Disney+ streaming app the next day. Viewers can expect 40 new episodes across two seasons with all the familiarity they’ve come to know from the original series, as shown in the trailer.
The show originally ran from 2008 to 2015 with four seasons. Episodes follow the out-of-the-ordinary summertime adventures of brothers Phineas and Ferb with their sister Candace, in addition to several friends along the way.
Episode 9 of the new season is titled, “Meap Me in St. Louis,” according to IMDb. Meap is an “intergalactic security agent” who is introduced to the show when his spaceship landed in Phineas and Ferb’s backyard. Since then, the character has taken on a life of its own, as it has an ongoing appearance throughout the series.
Many online have alluded to this episode coming to fruition when the announcement of the sequel seasons came in 2023.
While there have been no hints given as to what the plot of the episode will be, if it’s anything similar to the episode “Meapless in Seattle,” we can at least expect that it will take place in the city mentioned.
The first two episodes will premiere at 7 p.m. CT on June 5. The following 10 episodes will be available June 6 on Disney+. According to the Walt Disney Company, a sneak peek will be available May 26.
