ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in north St. Louis Thursday night.
Officers were called to the 5000 block of Queens Ave. in the Mark Twain neighborhood around 10:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found a 44-year-old man with gunshot wounds lying on the curb. He was transported to the hospital in critical and unstable condition, and he succumbed to his wounds an hour later.
Police were also told that there was a second victim, a 46-year-old man, who was brought to an area hospital privately. He was released from the hospital after being treated.
