ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – A federal judge has sentenced a former school bus driver in St. Charles County who admitted to recording the sexual abuse of minors.
Robert W. Stillwell, 67, of St. Peters, Missouri, was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Tuesday.
Stillwell pleaded to two counts of production of child pornography in January, admitting to recording the sexual abuse of two minors.
U.S. District Judge Henry E. Autrey called the case one of the “most vile and most despicable” that he has ever seen.
Investigators say Stillwell abused the victims while they were both asleep and awake, and he coerced the older girl into complying with his demands by promising toys and money.
Court documents state that Stillwell drank the urine of one of his victims. During the investigation, officials also found a journal in his bedroom that contained several entries that described payments for sexual acts.
The parents of one victim contacted the St. Peters Police Department in December 2023, leading to Stillwell’s arrest last year.
