ST. LOUIS – It is another bitterly cold start with temperatures above and below zero early Friday.

Winds have become very light to almost calm, so that does at least mean that wind chills are not a factor Friday morning. Still, a dangerously cold start. The day will be cold and sunny overall, highs in the upper 20s. That is about 10 degrees warmer than Thursday.

By Friday afternoon, winds start to swing out of the south and this will really get our climb out of the deep freeze going. After a cold start in the teens, we’ll climb close to 40 F Saturday afternoon and close to 50 F on Sunday.

Things look dry throughout the weekend. Monday and Tuesday temps next week are likely to pop close to 60 F. Still watching for some rain chances in the middle of the new week.
