GRANITE CITY, Ill. – Officials were alerted to reports of kidnapping and a  home invasion in the 2100 block of Edison Ave. in Granite City, Illinois, on April 24.

The Granite City Police Department says they discovered the alleged suspect, who now has been identified as Donte T. Pryor, driving a car with an adult woman and two minors.

Officials said they attempted to approach the suspect’s vehicle at a traffic stop, but Pryor continued driving, which prompted a police pursuit.

The pursuit, however, ended in Pryor crashing the vehicle in St. Charles County, Missouri, with the three victims inside of the car.

The adult woman, as well as Pryor, were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Granite City Police Department. The status of the two minors involved in the incident wasn’t confirmed to FOX 2.
