FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. – The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) announced they have recovered human remains that have been traced back to a missing man in Franklin County, Missouri.
MSHP’s Division of Drug and Crime Control announced today that the body of Aaron M. Duenke, 37, of Washington, was found on April 13, 2025, in St. Louis County.
Officials say that a citizen located Duenke’s remains alongside the Missouri River near Chesterfield.
Authorities say Duenke was reportedly last seen floating on a Missouri River ice flow near Washington, Missouri, on Dec. 27, 2022.
Ever since his disappearance, officials have made various search efforts to locate Duenke alongside the Missouri River.
