ST. LOUIS – The Loop Trolley will be resuming its services tomorrow following the aftermath of the May 16 tornado in St. Louis.
Opening at 11 a.m. and closing at 7 p.m., the trolley service is located near the Delmar Loop, extending 2.2 miles.
Due to the extreme weather that hit the area mid-May, the Loop Trolley faced significant challenges.
According to the business, it was unable to provide services, citing safety as one of its biggest concerns. Power outages and storm cleanup were also problems the business experienced.
In an update in regard to the reopening, the Loop Trolley announced that Twilight Thursdays will return in September.
The Loop Trolley is open on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Rides are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so no tickets are needed.
The Loop Trolley will operate until Oct. 26.
