ST. LOUIS – Detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating the death of an adult man Sunday night.
According to a release, police were called to a single-vehicle crash along the 2700 block of Clara Ave. in the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood just after 11 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found the car that had hit a tree and a man in the driver’s seat. According to police, that man also was suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
