SPANISH LAKE, Mo. – A homicide investigation is underway after a man was fatally shot Wednesday afternoon in Spanish Lake.
The shooting occurred around 1:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Rio Avenue.
Officers from the North County Precinct of the St. Louis County Police Department responded to the shooting.
When officers arrived, they found one adult man with life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a hospital for treatment, but he later died from his injuries.
Police have not yet disclosed the identity or age of the victim. No suspect information is available at this time. No arrests have been made in this case.
