ST. LOUIS – A man was injured after being cut at a bus stop Tuesday night in south St. Louis.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night at a bus stop near Chippewa Street and Hampton Avenue.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they found a 42-year-old man who was uncooperative and that appeared to be intoxicated. The man claimed to be cut by someone that he knew, but couldn’t provide any details on what led up to the incident.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital by EMS and was listed to be in stable condition following the incident.
