ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Maryland Heights is rolling out the red carpet for its residents and visitors with a family-friendly celebration marking the city’s 40th anniversary of incorporation.
The free, two-day event will take place Friday and Saturday, May 9–10, 2025, at Westport Plaza.
The weekend kicks off Friday night from 6–10 p.m. with carnival rides, a kid-friendly treasure hunt, fireworks, and a showing of the 1985 classic “The Goonies”—a nostalgic nod to the city’s founding year.
Saturday promises even more excitement, starting at 10 a.m. with a lively community parade, followed by a full day of entertainment including live music, circus acts, magicians, and more.
