Minor train malfunction impacting traffic in Kirkwood area

KIRKWOOD, Mo. – A train is causing travel delays in Kirkwood on Saturday morning.

Gary Baldridge, the PIO for the Kirkwood police called the situation a ‘minor train malfunction’.

The stopped train is blocking the intersection at Big Bend and Geyer Roads as well as South Kirkwood Road and Grand Avenue.

If you are headed to the area you’ll want to take a different route.

There is no word on when the train will be cleared from the area.
