JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Missouri Governor Mike Kheoe is calling back lawmakers for a special session that is aimed at various projects.

One of the topics under discussion was the future of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals. Kehoe says he’s working on a deal to keep both teams in Missouri.

The governor also proposed relief for those impacted by the St. Louis tornado earlier this month.

Missouri lawmakers will also have the ability to pass capital spending projects that didn’t initially pass in the regular season, according to Kehoe.

Kehoe also said that another special session will take place next Monday.
