ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A MoDOT truck was struck in a crash Thursday morning on Interstate 70 near James S. McDonnell Boulevard. Two people were injured in the crash, but neither were MoDOT employees, sources tell FOX 2.
The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-70, just past I-170. A MoDOT vehicle involved in the crash was on the left shoulder of the highway.
Crews from MoDOT and the Missouri State Highway Patrol have responded to the crash. FOX 2 has learned that no MoDOT crews working at the scene were injured.
