ST. LOUIS – This weekend will be busy for sports fans in downtown St. Louis.

From Friday until Sunday, the city of St. Louis will host multiple sporting events, featuring the Blues, Cardinals, Battle and Greater St. Louis Marathon.  

With many coming to downtown for the weekend, Metro Transit is prepared to help out sports fans with transportation.

Twenty-one free Metro Park-Ride lots at MetroLink stations can be found in both Missouri and Illinois. And individuals can also purchase a $5 Day Pass to ride the MetroLink at these downtown stations:

Metrolink Station at the Civic Center (for Jets vs Blues on 4/24 & 4/27)

Metrolink Station at Stadium (for Brewers vs Cardinals on 5/25 & 4/27)

Metrolink Station at Union Station and Civic Center (for Greater St. Louis Marathon on 4/26; both can be found near the starting line at Market & 14th Streets)

Metrolink Station at 8th & Pine or Laclede’s Landing (for Panthers vs Battlehawks on 4/27)

The $5 Day Pass can be used to ride the Metrolink and MetroBus for the entire day; it can be purchased on the Transit app or at Ticket Vending Machines, which are located at Metro stations and transit centers.
