ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A St. Louis County Circuit Court judge signed an arrest warrant last week for Manhattan man accused of exposing himself to a casino employee earlier this year.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s probable cause statement, the incident occurred Jan. 11 at Hollywood Casino in Maryland Heights.
The victim told MSHP investigators she was cleaning a men’s bathroom at the casino and had blocked the door with a “closed for cleaning” barrier. The victim told her a man ignored the sign, ducked under the barrier, and entered the bathroom anyway.
The victim told the man the bathroom was closed for cleaning. Authorities said the man told the employee he could use any bathroom he wanted because of the amount of money he’d spent. He then walked up to her and exposed his genitals.
The employee ran from the bathroom. The offender left approximately 30 seconds later and called her a derogatory name.
Investigators eventually identified the suspect as Paul Reyes of Manhattan.
The highway patrol said Reyes has numerous out-of-state run-ins with law enforcement in Mississippi, Pennsylvania, and New York.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Reyes with first-degree sexual misconduct. Online records show no future court appearance scheduled.
