Officer hit by vehicle on I-70, rushed to hospital: Police

ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department officer was injured in a crash Monday morning.

According to police, an officer was struck by a vehicle in the express lanes on Interstate 70 near Shreve Avenue.

The officer was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.

Traffic has been narrowed to one lane as emergency crews are at the scene.
