Only 6% of orthopedic surgeons are women; one SSM Health practice has three

ST. LOUIS — SSM Health St. Louis says that only 6% of orthopedic surgeons are women; despite this, one SSM Health practice has three female surgeons.

Dr. Angela Passanise talks about their two offices located in Wentzville and St. Charles and the difference it makes having three women on staff. Dr. Passanise was once an engineer but made the switch into the medical field after a sports injury playing soccer.
