ST. LOUIS – Panera Bread is introducing a new bread bowl in honor of St. Patrick’s Day that will alter the definition of a pot of gold.
Panera Bread, also known as St. Louis Bread Co., is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day by turning the inside of their famous sourdough bread bowl green and topping it off with their creamy Mac & Cheese inside.
“This St. Patrick’s Day, we’re serving up a little luck and a lot of comfort with our very own Pot of Gold,” said Mark Shambura, Panera Bread’s Chief Marketing Officer. “There’s no better way to get through the last few cold days of winter than with our signature Mac & Cheese wrapped in a delicious Bread Bowl. We hope our guests enjoy this festive way to celebrate the holiday Panera style.”
The new green bread bowl will only be offered on March 16 and 17 in select cities, including St. Louis, Boston, New York City, and Chicago. Customers can purchase the bowl online, via the Panera app, or through a kiosk in the cafe.
