ST. LOUIS – An investigation continues into a pedestrian crash Monday morning that cost a man his life.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the crash occurred at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Gravois and South Spring avenues in the Tower Grove South neighborhood.

Police said a Jeep Grand Cherokee was making a left turn from South Spring onto eastbound Gravois when the Jeep struck a pedestrian.

EMS responded and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver of the Jeep stayed at the scene, police said.
