ST. LOUIS – After extensive efforts to clear and remove storm damage, the Saint Louis Zoo will reopen to the public on Monday.

The zoo will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the remainder of the week until the four-day Memorial Day Weekend, when hours expand to 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Beginning Tuesday, May 27, the zoo moves to summer season hours and will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

According to a zoo spokeswoman, the Emerson Zooline Railroad, River’s Edge area, and other attractions or habitats will open later in the week. The Mary Ann Lee Butterfly Wing will remain closed as the zoo has several dome panels repaired.
