ST. LOUIS – Jacob Saylors scored three touchdowns as the St. Louis Battlehawks cruised to victory over the San Antonio Brahamas, 26-9, on Sunday in their 2025 home opener.

The Battlehawks capitalized early with the game’s first 17 points, which included two rushing touchdowns from Saylors. St. Louis held San Antonio scoreless until the final play of the first half, a Brahmas field goal as time expired.

Quarterback Manny Wilkins went 12 for 16 on passing with 162 yards and also rushed for 58 yards.

The Battlehawks announced a home opener attendance of 32,115, a little short of last year’s home opener that produced a spring football attendance record just above 40,000.

The Battlehawks improve to 2-0 in the 2025 UFL regular season with the victory and win their fourth consecutive home opener since the franchise’s inception.

Up next, the Battlehawks will host the DC Defenders at the Dome on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
