ST. LOUIS – St. Louis firefighters rescued children and an adult after a school bus got caught in a sinkhole.

The rescue happened near the intersection of South Broadway and Gasconade Street.

According to the St. Louis Fire Department, 12 children and the driver were safely removed from the bus. No injuries were reported.

The fire department said one of the bus’ rear wheels got caught in the sinkhole.
