ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Bel-Ridge, Missouri, man appeared in court Monday morning in connection with a fatal shooting last week in Beverly Hills.
According to the North County Police Cooperative’s probable cause statement, the shooting happened in the overnight hours of Wednesday, April 23, in the 6900 block of Greenway Avenue.
Police were called to the area around 3:20 a.m. for a man in the street. Officers arrived to find Darryl Scott lying dead in the street with a gunshot wound. Scott was 32.
The NCPC activated the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis to assist with the investigation.
By Saturday morning, the Major Case Squad announced the arrest of Arvid Wilkerson, 32, in the shooting. That evening, police arrested a second suspect, Keshaun O. Davison.
Police said Davison admitted shooting Scott and then tossing the murder weapon while running from the scene.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Davison with second-degree murder and armed criminal action. Davison remains jailed on a $500,000 cash-only bond. Wilkerson was charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon. He’s also been jailed on a $500,000 cash-only bond.
